How to overcome stressful situations

All of you know the situation. You´re getting up in the morning and the first thought is, whether you are able to meet deadlines or not. Some people have more stress than others but it´s a well-known problem.

There is also a good kind of stress. You need it to continue working and you need it to succeed but if you notice that there is too much of it, you have to do something against it. There are several possibilities to do so but you have to find the right one for you. I have tried many things to overcome stressful situations. So I´ll provide some tips for you:

Plan your work carefully:

It`s important to organize when you want to do your work. Why not make a timetable or a to-do list? You don´t have to be very strict but you´ll see, it´ll help you to keep in mind what you have to do and how much time you have to do it.

Don´t compare yourself to others:

If your friends have better marks than you have, it´s great for them but don´t compare yourself to it. You don´t have to be as good as they are all the time. Don´t stress about it because it´ll cause pressure and you can avoid that and concentrate more on your work. In the end, it´s better for your body and your soul.

Get enough sleep:

Even if it (sometimes) seems impossible because of the work you have to do, it´s important. Your body needs it. If it somehow is possible to sleep for a while, do it! You can´t concentrate properly if you´re tired. When you want to overcome stressful situations and you are getting angrier every minute because you´re tired and can´t get on with your work, it´s not a good idea to try to stay awake because tomorrow is another day.

Take breaks:

You can´t, for example, learn for six hours without breaks. There is less success without breaks. Stretch your body, drink some water, go for a walk or listen to your favourite music. Believe me, it´ll help you to remain focused and it´ll reduce stress.

There are many more tips, so I´ll write another post with other tips against stress soon.

Breath in, breath out and continue working again. You can do it!
